CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) People lined up Saturday at Loaves & Fishes in Clarksville for their 9th Annual Louisiana Saturday Night. The event was a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization that featured a dine-in or carry out-meal of chicken & smoked sausage gumbo, slaw, rice, roll, praline and drink.
Loaves & Fishes has been feeding the hungry in Clarksville-Montgomery County for over 30 years and serves a mid-day meal six days a week which equals to around 50,000 meals a year. The organization is always in need of food and financial donations along with volunteers
