CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) gathered this week to celebrate the retirement of Officer Bob Peterson.
“He will be greatly missed. Bob always had a smile and willing to lend a hand,” CPD spokesman Jim Knoll said. “By the amount of people in the room, it was evident that Bob was an integral part of CPD.”
Peterson gave 28 years to the department and now starts a new chapter in his life, whatever that may be.
“We’ll miss ‘Precinct Bob’, but he’ll always be part of the CPD family,” Knoll said.
His retirement will be effective Jan. 1, 2018.
