CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We have dozens upon dozens of nonprofits in Clarksville, supporting everything from hunger relief to youth mentoring to animal shelters. We’ve reached the point that we need a way to organize it all: to connect donors and volunteers with organizations, and to connect people in need with the agencies that can help them.
Welcome to #ClarksvilleStrong.
You might recall that 5 Star Media Group created ClarksvilleStrong.com at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to support small local businesses whose doors were temporarily closed. After that success, and with the pandemic shutdowns behind us, we’re relaunching #ClarksvilleStrong to focus on charity organizations.
The site, which is completely free, is designed to be an information warehouse so nonprofit supporters, volunteers and potential clients can see all of Montgomery County’s charity organizations in one place. The site will be searchable and browsable. Nonprofits will be able to highlight and update their current needs – whether that be for goods, money or volunteers – so that people will see tangible ways to get involved. Nonprofits can also include a link to their website and a direct link to their donation page.
#ClarksvilleStrong will get prominent and ongoing promotion by Clarksville Now and the nine local 5 Star Media Group stations – including Q108, Beaver 100.3, Rewind 94.3 and Z97.5.
The site is active now at ClarksvilleStrong.com, and all local nonprofits are encouraged to load the site with their information, all at no charge. The site launches to the public in mid-November. Nonprofits, be sure to get your information on the site soon so that it’s there when the site goes live to the public, with all of the promotion that will surround the launch.

We hope #ClarksvilleStrong will serve our nonprofits well so they can do even more to serve our community.
