CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The local branch of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is group of about 50 insurance and financial professionals working together to advocate, educate and differentiate.
“We’ve all taken a pledge to operate our businesses in an ethical manner as well as utilizing our relationships with the local, state and federal government to help advocate for legislation on behalf of our industry as well as the clients that we serve,” said Alexis Goines, the immediate past president.
Current NAIFA President Tyler Mayes said the organization will soon be holding its annual NAIFA Clarksville Golf Tournament. The three-man scramble is set for Friday, Aug. 11, at Swan Lake Golf Course. Mayes said it would be a time for fellowship and networking for a great cause.
Mayes said the proceeds raised at the golf tournament will benefit Clarksville Area Urban Ministries and Safehouse. The Safehouse program provides inclusive and trauma-informed support services to victims of domestic violence and their minor children. In 2022, NAIFA donated more than $1,600 to the local nonprofit I Am Invisible Bullying & Suicide.
