Update, 3:16 a.m.: The roadway opened back up and police announced the name of the victim will not be released until next of kin has been notified.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is currently processing a fatal crash involving three vehicles where a motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash took place around 7:05 p.m. on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway between Peachers Mill Rd. and Whitefield Rd., according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien. The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured in the crash.
For the meantime, police have shut down the 101st Airborne Division Parkway coming from both directions. Motorists have been advised to find an alternative route until the scene has been cleared.
FACT investigators are on their way to the scene and CPD has not released any other information at this time.
