CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Marco Lee, a lifelong resident of Clarksville, has announced his candidacy for Montgomery County commissioner representing District 21.

Lee is a graduate of Clarksville High School, and for the past 22 years, he has been a local small-business owner. He has been deeply involved in soccer at the local and statewide levels for decades. He has served in numerous leadership and board positions, including president of the Montgomery County Soccer Association and president of the Clarksville Soccer Association. He also served as executive vice president of Tennessee Soccer. In addition, Lee has been a soccer official and has served as a president and supervisor with the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) for the past 40 years. Lee is an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Lee said his decision to run is rooted in his commitment to the community. If elected, he said, he plans to focus on responsible growth in Montgomery County while ensuring careful stewardship of taxpayer resources.

“I want to work for my community by supporting responsible growth and making sure we spend our county resources wisely for the benefit of our citizens,” Lee said.

Lee also emphasized his support for local schools, teachers and public safety organizations. He said he is committed to working collaboratively with fellow commissioners, department heads and the county mayor while remaining open and accessible to the residents he represents.
