CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Christina Lee Hardesty is a candidate for Clarksville City Council, Ward 7.
Hardesty has a Bachelor of Science in University Studies with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Austin Peay State University. Studies included psychology, social work, political science and criminal justice. She is continuing her education at APSU to pursue a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security.
With a career rooted in rigorous financial oversight and management, Hardesty said, she is committed to the principled stewardship of public funds. She hopes to identify waste and maximize efficiency, ensuring that every dollar is appropriated with a disciplined, taxpayer-first mindset.
As a military spouse, mother, and special needs advocate, she said, she has navigated the challenges of military life and understands the sacrifices made by those who defend our nation. This “service before self” mentality drives her candidacy, she said.
Hardesty said her decision to enter this race was born from a period of prayer and an answer to God’s call to serve her neighbors.
