HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A man is facing charges after he crashed his vehicle during a pursuit Saturday.
According to a release, Kentucky State Police observed a 2005 Infiniti FX3 SUV going 82 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone at approximately 10 a.m.
The driver, Zayer Adams, failed to stop and began to flee from Trooper Dennis.
During the short pursuit, Adams lost control of his vehicle while travelling westbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Way and exited the roadway, where his vehicle came to final rest.
Adams sustained several injuries and was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Trooper Michael Dennis will obtain a warrant for Adams and charge him with violations pertaining to the pursuit.
