CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Subdued Few Motorcycle Club will hold a memorial and benefit ride Saturday, July 20 to show support for the 19 firefighters of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who were killed by a wildfire June 30 in Arizona.
The ride will begin at Texas Casual Grill, located on the corner of Tiny Town and Trenton Roads, and will travel past several fire stations on a route through Clarksville, Cadiz, and Hopkinsville. Registration for the event will be held from 9-11 a.m.
Riders will observe a moment of silence at the end of the ride for the Prescott 19 at Bo’s Cycle Shop around 2 p.m.
The event also features refreshments, silent auctions, and door prizes. Local businesses are encouraged to donate items to be used for prizes and auctions. The Clarksville Fire Department will display fire engines and equipment at both locations for families to take photos.
