CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Beginning May 1 and running through May 14, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is once again accepting food donations in exchange for $1.00 of eligible fines.
This Food for Fines initiative will benefit Manna Café. Library card holders may bring in canned soups, beans, vegetables, fruits, meats, peanut butter, mac and cheese, boxed meals, and full-size boxes of cereal throughout the drive. No glass, expired or opened items please.
Fines waived will not apply to lost items. A maximum of $30.00 in fines may be eligible and credit cannot be applied to future fines. The library welcomes any and all donations from the public during this period, even if they don’t have fines on their account!
