CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – John Dawson, Republican candidate for state House, District 67, received several recent endorsements, including from Congressman Mark Green, state Rep. Jay Reedy of District 74, incoming City Councilman DaJuan Little, and the NFIB Tennessee PAC.

Congressman Mark Green: “I’m proud to support John Dawson for State Representative in District 67. John served our nation for 20 years in uniform, but his commitment to service didn’t end there. As a Disabled American Veterans commander and member of the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition, John has continued to serve our veterans and our community. He will make Clarksville proud as a conservative leader in the state House.”

State Rep. Jay Reedy: “It is with pleasure and honor that I give my full support to John W. Dawson for Tennessee House District 67. He has stepped forward in support and to serve his community at a time of uncertainty during 2020. John served and retired from the US Army, but continues to be a strong veteran’s advocate that will fight for all that have sacrificed for our nation. This desire and willingness to never stop serving is what we as Tennesseans expect in our leadership. I ask that you as residents of Clarksville, Montgomery County and our great state of Tennessee stand with John and I to make this happen on 3 November 2020.”

DaJuan Little: “It is with great honor that I support and endorse John Dawson for state representative of District 67. I have known Mr. Dawson for many years and consider him to be a person of integrity and loyalty. He has a heart to serve and is always one to be able to share a laugh with. Mr. Dawson and his wife remain loyal servants to our community. Their love and generosity show in everything that they do from feeding the homeless to providing supplies for churches and nonprofit agencies. I consider Mr. Dawson as family to me and trust him to be the best option for the people of District 67. As the incoming councilman for Clarksville City Council Ward 3, I look forward to the good things to come from John Dawson as state representative of District 67.”

NFIB Tennessee PAC: “NFIB is proud to endorse candidates who have demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting small businesses in Tennessee,” said Jim Brown, Tennessee state director. “These individuals either have a proven track record of standing up for small businesses or have shown they will promote a positive business environment for Tennessee’s job creators.”
