CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The ESPN Clarksville, Culver’s Athlete of the Week is Clarksville Academy sophomore running back Landry Forte. In the Cougars week three win over Zion Christian, Forte had 226 yards on 26 carries and three touchdowns. Landry also gets it done in the classroom. He currently has a 3.8 GPA.
“Landry did a great job helping us move the ball and score points. Especially in the second half. On a rainy day when turning the ball over was an easy thing to do, he possessed the football and helped keep out offense on the field so we could grind the game out in the fourth quarter. When most people are fading, he continued to run strong to help put the game away.” said head coach JD Sellers.
