CLARKSVILLE, TN − Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the inaugural Clarksville Half Marathon, 5K, and 1-Mile Race, proudly presented by Hankook Tire Manufacturing Tennessee.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, experience the thrill of racing through the streets of downtown Clarksville, explore our scenic parks, and take in views of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Whether you’re aiming for a half marathon personal record, a speedy 5K, or a fun 1-mile dash, there’s an event for every runner.
“We’re thrilled to bring this exciting event to our community,” said Jennifer Letourneau, Director of Clarksville Parks & Recreation. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for runners of all levels to come together and celebrate fitness while showcasing our beautiful city.”
Professional timing services will be provided by Bald Eagle Events for the Half Marathon and 5K races. The time limit for the Half Marathon is 3 hours.
- The Half Marathon will start in downtown Clarksville, following Riverside Drive along the Cumberland River, passing through Liberty Park and McGregor Park, and continuing onto the Austin Peay State University campus. Runners will finish with a race down Franklin Street.
- The 5K course will also traverse downtown Clarksville and the Austin Peay State University campus, designed to offer a scenic and enjoyable route.
- The 1-Mile Fun Run will wind through downtown, using portions of the half marathon course.
Both the half marathon and 5K courses are currently undergoing USATF certification.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female winners of the Half Marathon and 5K races:
Half Marathon:
- Top Male & Female: $1,000
- 2nd Place Male & Female: $700
- 3rd Place Male & Female: $500
5K:
- Top Male & Female: $400
- 2nd Place Male & Female: $250
- 3rd Place Male & Female: $150

- Finish Line Celebration/Awards: 10:30 a.m.
