CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Kraft Street in Clarksville was closed from around 10:20 Tuesday evening until 8:00 Wednesday morning after a tractor trailer ran off the road and hit a utility pole, knocking down power lines.
The crash happened near Smithfield Manufacturing on Kraft Street and crews from the Clarksville Department of Electricity worked throughout the night to restore power and repair downed lines.
Clarksville Police say the driver of the truck and a passenger refused medical attention.
