James Daniel Biter, age 83 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021, with Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021, and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
James entered this life on October 2, 1937, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Burney and Nellie Black Biter. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and retired from Civil Service at Ft. Campbell. He was a member of the Excell Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Faye M. Gibbs Biter, and siblings, Paul Biter and Patricia Hanline
Survivors include his, daughters, Michelle (Jimmy) Moore of Clarksville and Tracy (Jim) Hudson of Florida; grandchildren, Danielle (Andrew) Shields, Devin Devine, Savannah Devine, Jack Moore, and Lexus Moore; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Anistyn, and Sarah.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hudson, Jimmy Moore, Devin Devine, Darrell Gibbs, Mike Foulks, and Tommy Hodnett.
