FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Together with Food Lion, Frito Lay, Forward Air and Armed Services YMCA, Hope for the Warriors distributed 4,000 food boxes to Fort Campbell military families last week.

Founded in 2006, Hope For The Warriors assists veterans, service members and military families with a variety of programming including clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition services.

Each box contained Food Lion macaroni & cheese, pot-style thin spaghetti, one-pound white rice, no salt added tomato sauce, no salt added corn and no salt added green beans.

“Hope for the Warriors in honored to support military families year-round but it’s especially meaningful for us during the holiday season,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder, president/CEO of Hope for the Warriors. “With so many of HOPE’s staff members being a part of a military family themselves, we know the impact every gesture makes to thank our service members and their families for their service and sacrifices, particularly this time of year.”
