CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police arrested a 25-year-old man and charged him with shooting a juvenile Friday morning.

On Friday, March 13 at approximately 3 a.m.,  Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in the 3000 Block of Dresden Way.

When police arrived they found a juvenile boy  in the roadway who was dead from a single gunshot wound.

Investigators with the Clarksville Police Department Homicide unit responded and took over the investigation, according to a news release.

The investigation has shown that during the early morning hours, a homeowner looked out his window to see a person near his vehicle which was parked in his driveway.

The homeowner fired a single shot striking the person.

The homeowner was identified as Jamison Mullins.

Mullins, 25, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.

The identity of the juvenile male victim is being withheld at this time.
