CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This holiday season, you can stroll along the river at Christmas on the Cumberland, shop at local vendors during festive markets and watch classic holiday movies with family and friends.

When: Nov. 22-Jan. 2; 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday
Cost: Free
Details: A showcase of over 1 million lights along the river. Vendors sell concessions on weekends during event hours.
Where: Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds, 1600 Needmore Road
When: Nov. 23-Jan. 1 from 5:30-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 5:30-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday.
Cost: $30 per car, $50 for more than 8 people in a vehicle
Details: Enjoy over 1 mile, and over 3 million lights from the comfort of your car.
Where: First Baptist Church, 435 Madison St.
When: Nov. 28-Dec. 22 Monday-Friday. Guided tours from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Self-guided tours 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sundays during worship hours
Cost: Free
Details: Over 40 trees, each telling a part of the story of Jesus. Call the church at 931-245-0000 to schedule a tour.
Irving Berlin’s White Christmas
Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St.
When: Nov. 24-Dec. 23 on Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
