CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Imagination Library of Montgomery County will present “Hats off to reading Campaign” on Friday June 27 at 11am with guest readers at the Montgomery County Library.

“Hats off to reading campaign” is part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library which started several years ago in hopes of giving children of any income bracket the chance to have books available to them.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will help you read with your child. There are many reasons parents do not read to their child, but we can eliminate one of them. Every child will have books of their very own, at no cost to you, thanks to Governor Bredesen and the State of Tennessee, Montgomery County and its partner organizations, other generous sponsors and Dolly Parton.

Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home. He/She can look forward to new and exciting reading adventures from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library until he/she turns five (5) years old as long as you remain a resident of Montgomery County. Should the child move outside Montgomery County, he/she automatically exits the program.

If you’re moving within Tennessee, call toll free 1-877-99BOOKS or go to www.governorsfoundation.org to see if the Imagination Library is available in your new community.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is FREE GIFT to your children! All you have to do is read to your children..
