CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Grace Church of the Nazarene is hosting its annual Drive-Through Nativity, a long-running community event that brings the Christmas story to life through live scenes and animals.
The drive-through Nativity has been held for nearly 30 years and features actors in costume along with animals such as camels, donkeys, goats and sheep.

Visitors remain in their vehicles as they travel through the church grounds, viewing scenes that include Caesar’s Palace, the inn, shepherds, angels, the manger, and the final scene depicting Jesus. Attendees listen to a pre-recorded narration that explains each scene and tells the story of Christmas.
In addition to the Nativity scenes, members of the Grace Church Choir sing Christmas carols outside. At the end of the drive-through, visitors are offered hot chocolate and cookies.

The Drive-Through Nativity will continue Sunday, Dec. 14, from 5-8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
