CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) How would you like to get an early start on you Christmas shopping? Yes, Christmas shopping. Altrusa International Inc. of Clarksville is hosting its inaugural Christmas in July Shopping Bazaar and Christmas Tree Auction.

The event will be held Saturday, July 13 from 12-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 14 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Riverview Inn, 50 College St. Admission is $1.00 for the event.

It will feature activities for children and adults along with sample goods from local vendors and boutiques.

The bazaar will showcase Clarksville-themed ornaments for sale, feature door prizes a Christmas activity booth for kids and a photo booth with Santa Claus. For those who can’t attend, there will be 15 themed Christmas Trees and six decorated wreaths to be auctioned through Handbid.com online.

“Join us for a fun weekend of shopping and bid on any of a dozen decorated Christmas trees with various themes including Candyland, Snowman, U.S. Army and more. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day.” said Lisa Boyd, one of the event organizers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Altrusa International of Clarksville Foundation which supports the Clarksville community with programs like the Counselor’s Closet, Project transformation and more.
