CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A crash on Zinc Plant Road early Friday sent four people to the hospital and closed the busy roadway to morning traffic.

The crash occurred at around 1:30 am near the intersection of Zinc Plant and River Road.

According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, driver Brett Price took a fast curve in a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, the vehicle left the roadway and flipped four times, landing on the wheels.

Price and passenger Dillon Connor were transported by Montgomery County EMS Ground to Gateway Medical, then taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Passengers Justin Stallings and Dalton Lawrence were transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt.

A fifth passenger Davey Conner, was uninjured.  He is the only occupant confirmed to have been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The investigation is ongoing but according to troopers, alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash.
