FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Fort Campbell soldiers, families, retirees, veterans and civilians are invited to honor and remember those who served with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell Tenant units by participating in the Run for the Fallen.
This event is free to enter and open to the public. It will be held Saturday, September 8. Bib pick up is at 7 a.m., the opening ceremony is at 8 a.m., and the run starts at 8:10 a.m. Times are subject to change.
Participants will have the choice of two routes to take during the un-timed run or walk. The first is a 2.37-mile route. The second route is shorter at 1.3 miles.
The routes will encompass several memorials and the boot display. The course is stroller friendly. Bicycles and pets are not permitted.
The event is held in conjunction with Military Survivor Appreciation Week.
