CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fort Campbell quarterback and defensive back Jacaryous Perryman has been named Clarksville Now’s Player of the Week for his performance in the Falcons’ upset of Madisonville-North. Perryman got it done through the air with 206 yards and two touchdowns, and on the ground with 144 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Perryman suffered an apparent injury midway through the game. Despite the injury, he played through and led his squad to one of the biggest upsets in the state of Kentucky.
Falcon head coach Henry Mitchell said this award is just another example of what a great leader Perryman is. “To see Jacaryous Perryman win this award, it speaks volumes to who he is. He is a competitor who is a leader of this football program. To see him out there playing on one leg shows that he has a heart of a lion.”
