FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union recently contributed $1,101 during the Army Emergency Relief Kick-Off this month at the Fort Campbell Division Headquarters Atrium.
Army Emergency Relief (AER), a private, non-profit organization, was established to assist soldiers and their family members in emergency financial situations due to no fault of their own. Families receive interest-free loans, grants, or a combination of the two.
In 2013, AER helped soldiers, family members, and retirees in the Fort Campbell area with $3,266,958 in interest free loans and grants.
The 2014 AER Campaign runs until May 15. AER is hopes to receive $250,000 in unsolicited, voluntary contributions from Fort Campbell soldiers and the community.
