Eula Mai Mixon, 92, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Slayden Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The Mixon family will receive friends from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Eula was born on May 12, 1931, in Montgomery Co, TN, daughter of the late William and Mattie Baggett Herrell. She attended Slayden Church of God of Prophecy since she was a child. Eula enjoyed playing BINGO, watching wrestling, sewing, and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and being a Mamaw to her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Coy Nesbitt Mixon; sisters, Louise Green and Betty Holt; brothers, James, Freeman, Edgar, and Verlie Herrell.
Survivors include her children; Janice (Randy) Piefke, James (Cindy) Mixon and Carolyn (Johnny) Billups; sisters, Mildred Cato and Rebecca Green; seven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
