Etta Mae Harris, age 77, of Clarksville, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital, in Nashville. She was born in Pickaway County, OH, to the late Wilbur C. Hosler and Agnes White Hosler. Etta was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Neal and Robert Hosler; and sisters, Charlene Endres and Mary Jane Groff.

Mrs. Harris was an avid birdwatcher, loved to travel, and spent the past 15 years traveling in an RV.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Etta is survived by her husband, Donald L. Harris, to whom she would have been married 60 years on October 13; four sons, Douglas Harris, of Golden, CO, Steve Harris (Carrie), of Clarksville, James W. Harris, of Plainville, MA, and Donald L. Harris, Jr. (Christine), of Evergreen, CO; daughter, Ellen Marie Tilley, of Millersport, OH; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
