CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Hundreds of elementary students from Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools will be at the Austin Peay Foy Center this Saturday for a Mega Party celebrating the success of the recent Clarksville City Saver coupon book fundraiser.

City Saver officials will present a check for $186,000 to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation for their part in the fundraiser. The event will be from 1-3 p.m. with the check presentation set for 2 p.m.

Over 300 elementary school students who sold at least seven of the City Saver coupon books during the district-wide fundraiser have been invited to the party. There will be food, games, music, inflatables, prizes, laser tag, a video game truck and more.

The mission of the Education Foundation is to support the improvement of public education by providing the school system additional funding for the support of programs and initiatives that contribute to student achievement.
