OAK GROVE, Ky. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night just after 8:30 p.m. on State Line Rd. in Oak Grove.
The female victim was flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
WHOP said the crash was accidental.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Public Information officer Captain Michael Pendleton said the male driver of the vehicle reportedly fired a shot into the air as a crowd gathered near the scene.
No further information about the driver has been provided. It is unclear if any charges were filed.
