CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Drake’s officially cut the ribbon Monday, May 3, on their new and highly anticipated restaurant.
Mark Thornburg, chief operating officer of Drake’s, said they are excited to be open, and to be new members of the Chamber of Commerce. “We love Clarksville, the hospitality is unbelievable, people are so nice here, and we knew that, it’s a very vibrant community. We couldn’t be any happier to be here and be open,” said Thornburg.
Thornburg said their atmosphere allows guests to forget all of the craziness that is going on in the world and just come in and have fun, enjoy the food, enjoy a great drink, for however long they want to be there.
At the ribbon cutting, Drake’s employees also made a $2,000 donation to the F.U.E.L. Program to help feed hungry children in Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools
