CW3 (Ret.) Douglas Alan Heimback, of Clarksville, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at his home.
Doug was born on October 2, 1963, in Buffalo, NY to the late Brent & Eleanor Heimback.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Heimback; brothers, Brent Heimback Jr. and Jeffrey Heimback; sister, Mary Lynn Heimback
Doug retired from 2nd Battalion 160th SOAR, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky in 2004, after 23 years of honorable service, and continued serving the Regiment as their CH-47 Test Pilot.
A memorial service for Doug will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (Chapel), 709 Franklin Street. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
