CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Another service area has been opened for high-speed internet in south Montgomery County.
Cumberland Connect announced Wednesday morning it has opened service for the area on both sides of Highway 48 from roughly south of Montgomery Central High School to the county line, and from the existing service area in Southside west to roughly Louise Road.
According to Cumberland Connect’s online expansion map, more of the Cunningham area and Oakridge should receive service “soon,” with Palmyra and Woodlawn following.
Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation (CEMC) announced Cumberland Connect in early 2018, promising to bring fiber optic internet service to all of their customers over a broad swath of Middle and West Tennessee, including Stewart, Montgomery, Cheatham, Robertson and Sumner counties.
