CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – An arrest has been made in the carjacking of a pizza delivery driver on March 28 in Clarksville.
Police were able to find a connection between the phone number associated with the carjacking and Javier Szabo, who is now a suspect in the case.
He was taken into custody at his residence without incident on March 29 around 4 p.m. He has been charged with carjacking and his bond was set at $100,000. The investigation is ongoing.
An officer who was responding to the initial call was injured in a single-vehicle crash.
Officer Alan Greenman, 32, crashed in the 2000 block of Robin Dr. around 11:30 p.m. on March 28. He was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt where he was last listed in stable condition.
