CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting business leaders, professionals and community partners to stay connected and engaged through a full slate of networking events, professional development opportunities and member programs throughout May and early summer.
The Chamber’s signature networking events continue this month with programs designed to build relationships, spotlight local businesses and create momentum for Clarksville’s growing business community.
The Clarksville Young Professionals network will meet on Wednesday, May 6, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Chamber office, 335 Franklin Street. The session will feature Gene Scott, Senior Network Engineer and Head of MSP Sales; Matt St. Martin, Business Technology Advisor; and Alaina Noffsinger, Business Success Advisor for Customer and Community Development at Cornerstone Information Systems, Inc. Lunch will be provided. Clarksville Young Professionals offers emerging leaders opportunities to connect, develop professionally and contribute to the region’s economic vitality.
Business After Hours, the Chamber’s premier monthly networking event, will be held Thursday, May 21, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The City Forum and Varsity Pins, 2231 Madison Street. Open to Chamber members at no cost, the event offers an opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders in a relaxed setting with complimentary food and beverages.
Looking ahead, the Chamber will celebrate one of its most anticipated events of the year, the 121st Annual Giddy‑Up Gala, on Tuesday, June 2, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for businesses seeking high‑visibility exposure among the area’s top leaders and decision‑makers.
The Chamber is also preparing its 2026‑27 Chamber Guide and Directory, a locally produced publication that reaches more than 40,000 readers annually, including business owners, new residents and community partners. Members are encouraged to update their business profiles and reserve advertising space early, as availability is limited. The deadline for profile updates is June 30.
In addition, applications are now open for the Chamber Ambassador program. Ambassadors serve as the public‑facing representatives of the Chamber, supporting ribbon cuttings, grand openings and special events while helping welcome new members into the organization. Applications are due by June 5.
Throughout the month, the Chamber continues to welcome new members, recognize standout businesses and highlight the positive impact local companies have on the community — from workforce development and entrepreneurship to tourism and quality‑of‑life initiatives. National Travel and Tourism Week, observed on May 3–9, underscores the importance of visitor spending to Montgomery County’s economy, supporting schools, public safety and essential services.
“The strength of the Chamber is rooted in its members,” said Chamber leadership. “Every event, program and partnership is designed to help businesses grow, connect and thrive, while advancing the economic well‑being of our entire community.”
