Ann Marshall (Greer), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in Clarksville, TN, at the age of 91.
Born on May 8, 1932, in Ripley, TN, Ann dedicated her life to the selfless care of others, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Her unwavering devotion to her family and friends was evident in every aspect of her life. Ann’s kindness knew no bounds; she would gladly give the clothes off her back to ensure the well-being of those she loved.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert Wallace Marshall, but her legacy lives on through her three children, Carol Marshall Brown, Kenneth Marshall, Linda Marshall (Paul) Vienneau, and children by marriage, William Ira (Bill) and Dee Marshall, Henrietta Marshall Smith and their loving family. In addition to her immediate family, Ann was one of ten children, and her enduring legacy extends to her surviving siblings, James Greer and Mary Greer Lents, who will continue to cherish the memories of their sister. Her nurturing spirit extended to her ten grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren who were the apples of her eye.
Her life was a testament to the power of love, sacrifice, and compassion. Ann’s warmth and generosity created a ripple effect that touched the lives of everyone around her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and the lessons she imparted on the importance of selflessness and love will continue to inspire generations to come.
