Betty Lou Madden, 81, of Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1931 in Montgomery County, TN to the late George W. Stalls and Lessie Trotter Stalls. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ed Madden and daughter, Susan Sherron.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Jamie Mandrell and Rev. Laurie Hynson officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Betty was a greeter at Sam’s Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving companion of 8 years, Larry Johnson of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Carol (Bob) Krueckeberg of Cumberland Furnace; son-in-law, Larry Sherron of Clarksville, TN; granddaughter, Abby Krueckeberg Murphy of Clarksville, TN; grandson, Paul (Rebecca) Krueckeberg of Clarksville, TN; and two great grandchildren, Eleanor and Clark Krueckeberg.
