LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Logan County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky is investigating a report of “needles” found in Halloween candy.
According to the department’s Facebook page, the reporting party alleges that two needles were found in a “Fun Size” Snickers bar that was possibly obtained in the Russellville City Limits area.
The sheriff’s department is asking parents to check all collected Halloween candy.
This follows a similar incident this week in Wilson County, Tennessee.
Russellville is about 25 miles northeast of Clarksville.
