CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control’s (MCACC) March Madness Adoption Fee event is happening now through April 8 at the shelter.
During this time, adoption fees are half price, for a total cost of only $12.50. Additionally, the normal $8 adoption fee for the Lonely Hearts and Golden Whisker Club members will be waived.
This special covers adoption fees only and does not include possible fees such as, microchip, rabies and spay/neuter charges.
The animals selected to play for the final four remaining college teams will have their adoption fees, microchip, rabies and spay/neuter charges removed. Those who adopt a pet from MCACC can also enter their name for a chance to win a national champion gift basket sponsored by the Montgomery County Angel Fund.
“We are always looking for creative ways to get the word out about the cats and dogs that are waiting for a family. March Madness is a fun time to once again bring awareness about the animals,” said MCACC Director David Kaske.
