Amanda Joy Roark, age 27, departed this life Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was born July 6, 1993, in Freeport, Illinois to Scott and Sabrina Roark. She was a graduate of Clarksville High School and Tennessee College of Applied Technology. She was employed at VCE in Nashville where she was considered family.
Amanda had a big personality, a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and a huge heart; she lit up any room she entered. She never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. She was truly one of a kind, never to be replaced.
Amanda’s greatest accomplishment was the birth of her daughter Lena Joy. She was a dedicated, loving mother and embraced every single moment she had with Lena. She loved her daughter, her family, and friends with deep unwavering love. She also had a puppy dog named Pugslie, who she loved dearly.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandmother Hulene Nelson and Grandparents Earl and Beverly Roark. She is survived by her daughter Lena Joy Kaufmann, Parents Scott and Sabrina Roark, brothers Andrew (Erin) Roark of Gallatin, Anthony Roark of Clarksville. Niece and nephew Adaline and Maddox Roark.
A memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home for Amanda on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. till the hour of service. Officiating is Pastor Cal Hampton. The family has requested that all who attend the service please wear a mask.
