SAVANNAH, Tenn. (WKRN) – Zach Adams was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 50 years for the murder, kidnapping and rape of Holly Bobo.

A deal to escape the death penalty and spare his life was struck Saturday morning, with approval from both the prosecutor and the family of Holly Bobo.

Adams was found guilty on all eight charges, including 3 counts of first degree murder, by a jury in Hardin County Friday evening.

The attorney for Zach Adams said he has always maintained his innocence. Jennifer Thompson said, “We know for sure that he won’t receive the death penalty and that is a relief I think to everyone.”

She is already planning to appeal his conviction.

Jason Autry, who testified for the prosecution, and Dylan Adams, the brother of Zack, are still facing charges in the Bobo case. They are set to appear in court in November.
