CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County had 3 more deaths from COVID-19 reported on Monday, following the worst week yet for coronavirus deaths.
The local death toll is now at 27, with 8 of those deaths reported last week.
Joey Smith, Montgomery County Health Department director, said it’s important for the community to support the families of those who have died.
“Let’s remember that each of these deaths is a person. They were one of our neighbors, and their friends and family are grieving,” Smith said.
