CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old man paralyzed.
Officers responded to the area near 83 Cedarcrest Drive Saturday, March 23 around 6:30 p.m. and found the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound in his back.
He was transported to Nashville by LifeFlight and is in stable condition, according to police.
Investigators believe the victim was involved in a physical confrontation and was shot at some point during the fight. Based on information gathered so far, the victim and suspect knew each other.
Police are following leads and want to talk to two men that may have information related to the shooting: 19-year-old Mark Broaden Jr. and 20-year-old Melvin Thomas.
