HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A multiple-vehicle crash occurred Thursday afternoon on I-24 westbound in Christian County near mile marker 89.
Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said a semi-truck hauling chickens, an RV, and a passenger vehicle were involved. The crash resulted in a fire.
A Dutchstar RV pulling a car driven by David Youngquist of Annandale, MN collided with a semi driven by Quenton Williams of Hayden, AL in the westbound lanes, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. The RV was knocked into the median and the semi and car caught fire.
No one was injured.
Traffic was at a standstill for several miles.
