There’s still time to get in on the Kleeman Community Center’s Fun Interval Training program in 2015! F.I.T. starts back up for a third round on January 26, and continues through March 26 at the Kleeman Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.
The class will meet Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each day of the week focuses on a different muscle group and cardio activity to get blood pumping and burn calories. This program combines the attention of a personal trainer with the support of a small group fitness class.
The entire ten week cycle is $65, and space is limited. Register now by visiting the Clarksville Parks & Recreation website. Select “Instructional Classes, Lessons, and Camps” from the left-hand tab. From there, select the Kleeman Center tab to register. Registration is also available at all three community centers or our Main Office, located at 102 Public Square.
The F.I.T. Program was created to build the average person into a healthier and fit person. The program brings this concept to the forefront by teaching the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The program has three levels depending on the goal of the participant. They can either build endurance, increase muscle mass or do cardio to lose weight. Instructor, Joseph Hart, is an experienced Master Fitness Trainer and accomplished Track & Field athlete.
