CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Nashville Kats extended their winning streak to 11 games on Saturday after coming back and defeating the Albany Firebirds 59-53, officially making them the 2026 Arena Crown champions.

In the last minute of the Arena Crown championship game, the Nashville Kats were able to pull ahead with a 25-yard passing touchdown from quarterback Tyler Kulka to wide receiver Malik Honeycutt to break a 53-53 tie.

Up 59-53, while the Firebirds were able to move their way down to their opponents one yard line with three second remaining, the Kats made a goal line stand to clinch the 2026 Arena Crown championship game, which sent F&M Bank Arena into a wild frenzy.

From announcing their move to Montgomery County in 2025, the Nashville Kats now bring a championship home to Clarksville.
