CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The TSWA has released its 2026 All-State softball teams, and a Clarksville standout is up to bat. While plenty of Montgomery County players put together impressive seasons, only one earned a spot on the list: Clarksville High infielder Kenzie White.

White is already rewriting the Wildcats’ record books, and now she can add All-State honors to her growing resume. The left-handed slugger was one of just three sophomores named to the Class 4A All-State team, but her numbers stacked up with anyone in the state. She hit an eye-popping .632 while driving in 41 runs and blasting a CHS single-season record 20 home runs.

Maybe the most impressive part of White’s game doesn’t show up in the stat sheet. With one of the area’s best gloves, her versatility allows Wildcat head coach Brian Rush to move her around the field and put her in the best position to help Clarksville win.

That paid off this season. Alongside her younger sister, Maddie, White helped lead the Wildcats to 30 wins and the program’s first region tournament appearance since 2022. It’s also worth remembering she’s only a sophomore.

Through just two seasons, White has already claimed nearly every major single-season hitting record at Clarksville High. Now, she’ll set her sights on the career marks and, if she keeps this pace, Montgomery County history.

White enters her junior season just six home runs shy of breaking former Wildcat Haley Bearden’s program record of 28. With two seasons still to play, more wins and more records appear to be on the horizon for Clarksville, and White’s place among the program’s all-time greats continues to grow.
