CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Kinlea’s Cheesecakes recently opened downtown at 125 Franklin St., serving desserts and several styles of stuffed burgers.

Reggie Outland, owner of Kinlea’s Cheesecakes, said opening his own restaurant has been a dream in the making. According to their website, Kinlea’s started with one special birthday and grew into a dream built over 10 years of baking, testing and sharing joy through dessert.

“Named after my youngest daughter, Kinlea, this business began when I made cheesecakes for her 5th birthday and discovered a passion that kept growing,” Outland said on the website. “Over the years, I’ve worked to perfect each flavor and create desserts made for sweet moments. Today, I’m excited to share Kinlea’s Cheesecakes with the Clarksville community.”

Cheesecakes: Coffee toffee, banana pudding

Kinlea’s cheesecake menu consists of five staple flavors: plain, strawberry, coffee toffee, Oreo, and banana pudding. However, Kinela’s also offers flavors that rotate weekly. Listed on their website are brown sugar cinnamon, apple pie, key lime, Snickers and lemon blueberry.

Custom cheesecakes are available for birthdays, gatherings and sweet celebrations. Special orders take two days to complete.

Kinlea’s stuffed burger selections

Meanwhile, outside of cheesecakes, Kinlea’s also offers stuffed burgers, which come with a side of fries or tater tots. Here are some of the selections.

  • Chili Cheese Tot: Stuffed with chili cheese and tater tots, topped with additional chili, as well as cheese.
  • Mac and Cheese: Stuffed and topped with mac and cheese and bacon.
  • The California: Turkey burger stuffed and topped with avocado and gouda, with bacon stuffed inside as well.
  • The Heater: Spiced meat and bacon stuffed and topped with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese.
  • The Pizza: Sausage and beef burger stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce. Topped with additional mozzarella and pizza sauce.

Kinlea’s also offers a selection of lemonade flavors, including plain, mango, strawberry, pineapple, peach and blueberry.

For now, hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. However, those hours are subject to change as the months go on.
