CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was found dead in a store parking lot in New Providence Sunday morning.
At approximately 6 a.m., Clarksville Police responded to Bob’s Discount Tobacco, 505 Providence Blvd., to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers located a man lying on the ground in the front parking lot, according CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.
Montgomery County EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Detectives with the CPD Special Operations Homicide Unit are processing the scene.
“The preliminary investigation indicates there is no foul play involved,” Beaubien said.
