CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Academy senior Lexie Calzaretta has signed her national letter of intent to play soccer for Stetson University, celebrating with her friends and family at the Clarksville Young Life House.
Calzaretta has taken the road less traveled, not only committing to play for Stetson as a sophomore in high school, but also playing high school football during her junior season. Calzaretta plays travel soccer for the UK Soccer Academy, where she has been a captain for two years.

During the signing, Clarksville Academy football coach Steadman Bell and UK Soccer Academy coach Tony Sonnabend both praised Lexie for her talent, commitment and drive to excel in her sport, which propelled her to the Division I level.
Calzaretta will suit up next fall to play for the Hatters, who compete in the Atlantic Sun conference in Deland, Florida.
