CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – On Thursday night, Clarksville Police responded to a report of a shooting that had already occurred, which led them to finding a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 10:42 p.m. and immediately initiated CPR until EMS arrived at the scene of 867 Heritage Pointe Circle.
The 22-year-old male was then transported to Tennova Healthcare by Montgomery County EMS, and his current condition is unknown, said CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
Officers have detained a person of interest, and detectives are enroute to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. “This appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no additional information available for release at this time,” Beaubien said.
